Simple Hire - Terms and Conditions of Hire

Welcome to Simple Hire! We are pleased to offer you our tool hire services under the following terms and conditions. By hiring tools from us, you agree to adhere to these terms, ensuring a smooth and fair transaction for all parties involved.

1. Cleanliness and Return Condition: All items must be returned in the same clean condition as they were at the time of pickup. Should an item be returned in a condition deemed unsatisfactory by Simple Hire, a cleaning fee equivalent to one day’s hire charge will be applied.

2. Identification and Payment Information: To hire an item, customers are required to present two forms of identification and provide valid credit card information. This is to ensure security and to facilitate the hiring process.

3. Insurance and Liability: Customers are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance for all hired tools. In the event of theft or if an item is broken beyond repair, the customer will be liable for the full retail price of the item.

4. Repairs: If any tools are returned broken or damaged but repairable, the customer will be charged for the cost of the spare parts needed for repair, in addition to a hiring fee equivalent to one week’s hire of the item.

5. Credit Card Information Security: Customer credit card information will be securely held for the duration of the hire period and will be deleted upon the successful return and completion of the hire period.

6. Ongoing Hire Charges: For extended hires, charges will be applied on a weekly basis. Customers are encouraged to communicate any extensions of hire period to avoid misunderstandings.

7. Extension of Hire Period: Items can be retained beyond the initially agreed hire period, subject to availability. Extended hire will incur charges as per the prevailing hire rates of Simple Hire.
